Cub Scout Pack 3118 trip to Nickajack Farms Tonight

Hello scout families! Just a reminder that we will be meeting at Nickajack farms this Tuesday, October 8. (By the BLUE SILO) Please try to arrive 10 minutes early if possible.
- Admission will be due at the door ($6.50 per scout or sibling, $3 per adult)
- Price includes hayride, take-home pumpkin, petting zoo, discovery barn, and play areas
- Address is 2955 Manchester Ave in North Lawrence. It's right on Route 93, about 20 minutes south of the church
- Hope to see everyone there!

Pack 3118 Northeast Ohio Live Steamers Tuesday Sept 24th 2013
Reminder about this Tuesday's PACK 3118 event:
- Cubs & Families are visiting Northeast Ohio Live Steamers (TRAIN RIDES!) Tuesday September 24 from 6 to 8pm
- Option of meeting at the church just before 5pm and caravanning there (leaving at 5!) or meeting at the trains at 5:50
- 3654 Lester Rd, Medina, OH 44256
- Free for cubs and families (our pack will make a donation)
- Contact your den leader if you want to carpool
- Wear Class A uniforms please!

OUR FIRST MEETING WILL BE AT THE CHURCH THIS TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 10 AT 7PM
- This is a Pack meeting to be held in the sanctuary
- Wear class A uniform please
- Parents encouraged to stay for yearly planning/agenda
ALSO, on WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 11 THERE IS A SCOUT RECRUITMENT NIGHT AT NOLLEY ELEMENTARY 6-8pm
- If your son has a friend interested in joining scouts, this is a good opportunity to invite
- Your son will earn recruiter badge if friend signs up
- If the friend is in sports, etc., their friend can still sign up at any time during the school year (Contact Nic O. or your den leader)

Location: Parish Life Center @ Queen of Heaven Church
1800 Steese Road, Uniontown, OH 44685
Purpose: Provide a fun, filled day for scouts. The event gives boys the opportunity to
earn Belt Loops, Patches and other skills that they might not learn in a den meeting.
Choose from more than 20 different classes. Classes filled on
a first-come, first-serve bases
Time: 8:45 am to 2:00 pm
Tuition: $10 per scout. The fee also includes lunch.
Professors: We are looking for people to teach classes! Visit the website and see how the
program works. Before we can open up registration we need classes!
Volunteers: Don’t want to teach a class? Come and help out as a Volunteer! We need
a lot of people. (Teaching a classes is so much more rewarding though!).
New for this year:
1. We will be accepting credit cards and paypal during the registration process.
2. Cub College will be set up to work with Day Camp.
Which means Day Camp and Cub College will cover different belt loops and requirements.

Camp Butler is located at 880 W. Streetsboro Road, Peninsula, 44264 (state route 303)
Adventure Camp is now a FAMILY CAMP.
Children under Cub Scout age cannot do bb gun or archery.
We will have other things for them to do. You need two adults for every six boys. First grade boys (Tigers)
MUST have at least one parent present. Cost is $35.00 per person (camper). Price includes a snack on
Friday, two meals on Saturday, and a t‐shirt. Activities include BB guns, archery, and other experiences.
You will be tent camping (in your own tents). You will need a sleeping bag and/or blanket, toiletries,
flashlight and a change of clothes. Come prepared, we go rain or shine. Check in at Atwater Lodge (Dorm),
Friday 6:00pm‐7:00pm. Check out Saturday 4:00pm. Please contact me in advance of any special needs.
Packs/Parents are responsible for sending in Medical Forms for each person
